Bintan is the largest island in the Riau province of Indonesia located just south of Singapore. Bintan is lined with a coast of 105 km, and is popular with visitors for its beach resort and recreational activities like snorkeling, jet-skiing, wind surfing, canoeing, sailing and diving too.

Bintan’s dive sites are quite untouched, becoming more popular only recently. The areas around Bintan is not very deep so it is good for basic scuba courses. Due to its close proximity from Singapore, it is also a good place for a short diving getaway for divers who want to just get under the water.
