What is the PADI Advanced Open Water Course?

You are a Open Water diver and you’re loving it. What’s next? Hone your scuba skills by taking up the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course! This natural next step is never too early as the course is designed for new Open Water divers to increase their confidence and become a better diver by learning and experiencing different types of diving. You will need to complete 5 adventure dives, in order to be certified including a deep dive and underwater navigation.

The Padi Advanced Open Water Diver Course consists of 2 components – You must complete the knowledge reviews on your own and go for the open sea dives with your instructor. You need to complete 5 adventure dives to be certified and we conduct trips weekly.

1. Knowledge Development
Theory Class

This is mostly self-study. You can do it anywhere at your own pace including home or the beach!

What to Prepare?

Please read your PADI Adventures Manual and do the knowledge reviews after each chapter if possible. You must complete the following chapters though;

  • Underwater Navigation
  • Deep Diving
  • Peak Performance Buoyancy
  • Night Diving
  • Drift Diving
  • Boat Diving
  • Wreck Diving
2. Five Adventure Dives
Navigation Dive

Time to get wet and dive in the open sea for the 5 adventure dives your instructor chooses and you will choose!

Sessions

We have trips every weekend, refer to our trip schedule HERE for exact dates.

Location

One weekend in Malaysia- Tioman or Aur (Friday 7:00pm to Sunday 10:00pm)
